On August 16, 2018, Governor Andrew M. Cuomo signed legislation amending Public Health Law article 35-A, prohibiting the use of indoor tanning ultravilotet radiaition devices by individuals younger than 18 years of age. The effective date of this legislation is August 16, 2018. Persons eighteen (18) years of age or older must provide a driver's license or other photo identification, issued by a government entity or educational institution, before using UV radiation devices.

ALL CLIENTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO SIGN A YEARLY NYS TANNING FACILITIES STATEMENT OF ACKNOWLEDMENT & CONSENT FORM
ALL CLIENTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO SHOW FDA APPROVED UV EYE PROTECTION BEFORE TANNING
